21 years w/Busy Bee!
I am Miss Ada. I live in East Bridgewater. I have two sons, a daughter, and a dog. We enjoy traveling and taking family vacations. I am a graduate of Bridgewater State College and have a BS degree as well as a Masters degree in Education. This will be my 18th year at Busy Bee. I am Busy Bee's full day pre-k program teacher. You will find me bright and early each morning eagerly awaiting the arrival of you and your children! 19 years w/Busy Bee!

My name is Miss Alicia. I have been at Busy Bee for 12 years.
I am the acting Director at our Whitman location, although I do visit the East Bridgewater locations
frequently. I have my B.S. degree with a double major in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education, and a minor
in child psychology. I have also taken graduate courses towards my master’s degree in Education.
I live in Hanover with my husband Brian and
three dogs. You will see me
throughout all of the classrooms on a daily basis working with the teachers and
students. I look forward to meeting all of you and watching you child grow with Busy Bee.

 My
name is Maureen Marquis and I have been a teacher at Busy Bee since
November 2009. I attended Massasoit for Early Childhood Education
and have been in the field for 13 years. I have been married for 10
years to my wonderful husband Scott and we have two awesome
children. Our daughter Emily is 7 years old and starting the 2nd
grade and our son Cameron is 2 years old and is in the toddler class at
Busy Bee! I am very excited to work with your children this year!

My name is Miss Kacey =). I am 21 and have worked at Busy Bee for
41/2 years now, in EVERY room! I love working with kids, they're so
much fun. There's always something new to learn every day and they
love to learn. I live in Abington. I'm a huge dog-lover. We live
with 5! (Mason, Manny, Rosie, Duke & Zya). Mason is mine, he just
turned 1 and is a German Shepherd and he is the sweetest/clumsiest puppy
in the world! My family is very important to me, and it just keeps
growing! I look forward to spending another great school year with
everyone!

 Hello!!
I am Miss Shelley. I am one of the Infant/Toddler teachers at Busy Bee. I
have been a teacher here for going on 17 years!!! I taught in the
pre-school classrooms for eight years, then I moved to the Infant/Toddler
program where I have spent the last nine years. I find this age
group to be so much fun, and very rewarding! I grew up in Whitman,
where I still live with my husband Mike, and three children. My oldest is
6, Camden, and Emma is 5 -- They both love school!! My youngest is Amelia,
who is 2. She is such a sweetheart! I look forward to another fun
and exciting year with all my friends at Busy Bee!

 My
name is Miss Julie and I live in East Bridgewater with my husband and
three children. Our youngest son, Matthew, works full-time at a
powder coating business and he likes riding his dirt-bike and
motorcycle. Our oldest, Joshua, is continuing school at Massasoit
Community College and he loves to write and listen to music. Our only
daughter, Jennifer, just graduated from UMass Boston and recently received
her license to teach English. My husband, Todd and I love to go for
motorcycle rides and we love to go fishing. We have a dog, Ida, a cat,
Peanuts, a fish, a dwarf hamster, a snake, and a pig. I have worked
at Busy Bee for 10 years. I have been teaching in the toddler room for 2
years. I am looking forward to helping the children learn and achieve new
skills as they grow.

my name is Miss Kelly! I teach the Nursery room at Busy Bee. I have worked
here for five years now and got my teaching certificate at Massasoit. I
grew up in East Bridgewater with my family and even attended Busy Bee as a
little girl! I love working here because I enjoy the time I get to spend
with wonderful teachers and students every day. I am recently a new
auntie to a baby boy named Hunter and his big sister Isabella! I am
very excited to meet some new students and to continue working with the
old ones. I am looking forward to a great new school year!

name is Miss Doris. I am a Teacher's Assistant in the Pre-K room. I
live in the town of Hanson with my husband "Bud." I have
over thirty years experience in business management. Over the past ten
years I have worked directly with the Lead Teacher in Busy Bee's Pre-K
room assisting in daily lessons, projects and testing. I have gained
great experience, judgment and take pride in the accomplishment and look
forward to continued growth and challenges in each child.

married to my husband for 23 years and we have a daughter Andrea and
son-in-law, John. I have two beautiful grandchildren, Jayden and

my name is Debbie. I have been a teacher here at Busy Bee for almost 4
years. I live in Whitman with my three children. I have been
teaching for about 11 years and enjoy every aspect of the job. I
have learned a great deal over the years and love the idea of teaching and
caring for young children. I look forward to a happy and fun-filled

5 years w/Busy Bee! My name is Miss Donna have been working at Busy Bee for 13th years. I've taught nursery and pre-K for many years. I am now an infant toddler teacher and I must say loving every minute of it. I live in Bridgewater with my husband Mark of 33 years and our son Matt and our daughter Samantha. In my spare time I enjoy walking, decorating, reading and especially spending time with my family. My children are my most precious gifts. Thank you for sharing your most precious gifts with me. Hi! My name is Miss Michelle. I currently live in East Bridgewater with my parents, my two younger brothers, Joey and Adam, my dog Rusty, and my cat, Kitty. As a Phi Theta Kappa member, I graduated from Dean College earning an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. In May 2010 I graduated from Curry College with my Bachelors Degree in Child, Youth and Community Education with a minor in Psychology. When I am not here at Busy Bee, you may find me teaching gymnastics, babysitting, spending time with family and friends, shopping, going to the beach, listening to music or scrap booking! My name is Miss Julie and my husband Shawn and I are the proud parents of TWIN boys, Matthew and Travis born March 24, 2010! We living in Whitman and along with the twins we have two cats whose names are Katie and Li-lo. I started working at Busy Bee at the age of 16. I took classes at Massasoit Community College to become a State Certified Teacher. I have been at Busy Bee for 16 years. My brother Mike also works at Busy Bee with the party rental business. My free time is devoted to taking care of, playing with, and thoroughly enjoying being with the twins. The experience I developed from working at Busy Bee through the years definitely has been put to use at home and has eased some of my first-time mom issues! My name is Miss Mary. I have been a teacher at Busy Bee for 20 years. I am
a graduate of Framingham State College and have taken post graduate
classes at Massasoit Community College and Stonehill College. I live
in West Bridgewater with my husband, Steve and daughter, Meg. I have
another daughter Cathy, and a son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Becky,
and three wonderful grandchildren, Brant, Alanna and Brady. I look forward
to spending another fun-filled year at Busy Bee.
My
name is Denise Foster, also known as Mrs. Foster. My husband David and I
live in East Bridgewater and have 3 grown children. Our son Matthew
is a Paramedic on the East Bridgewater Fire Department, He is married and
he and his wife, Lauren have an adorable 20-month old daughter
Abigail. Our son Timothy is serving in the US Navy. He is currently
stationed in San Diego, CA. He is also married. He and his wife Chiharu
have 2 beautiful daughters, Sea is 9, and Elysia is 6. Andrew is our
youngest and he is attending college, works and is living at home.
He is planning on going into the Law Enforcement field when he is finished
with school. I have an Associates Degree in Early Childhood
Education from Fisher College. I am Certified in CPR and First Aid.
I have been with Busy Bee since 1991.
My
name is Miss Patty. This will be my 9th year at Busy Bee. I have lived in
Whitman for over 20 years now. I am married and have two children (Eric
and Paige, who both went to Busy Bee when they were younger). I have
two pets... a Cat named Muffy and a Dog named Patsy. I enjoy working
in the half-day program. I am looking forward to a fun and exciting year.
My
name is Miss Vanessa. I have been working at Busy Bee for the last 6
years, and just last year I was promoted to be the Assistant Director at
our new location Busy Bee Babies! I live in West Bridgewater with my
great husband Gerry of 8 years. Together we have 2 beautiful daughters,
Anna (4-years old) and Amy (1-year old). I'm from the Dominican
Republic, where the warm coral blue beaches can make life very
relaxing! I'm hoping we can have a great new school year full of
excitement, challenges, and new experiences!
Hello, my name is Miss Vicki
(Perkins). This is my 4th year working at Busy Bee School. Time
really does fly when your having fun! I'm originally from Andover,
MA but have made Whitman my home with my husband Scott for over 14
years. I have three wonderful children who are all former graduates
of Busy Bee. Their names are Zachary, age 14, Nathan, age 12, and
Samantha. I originally because certified in Andover when I was going
to college. I also teach Religious Education at Holy Ghost Parish
and I am a Brownie Troop Leader. I look forward to another great
year at Busy Bee! Thank you for letting me be part of your child's youth!
My name is Miss Julie. This
will be my 7th year working at the Whitman Busy Bee as a teacher's
assistant. I have worked in the Nursery Room for 5 years. This will
be my 2nd year with the Toddlers. I enjoy being in each and every
room and different age groups. I live in Whitman with my husband
Brian, of 23 years, and we have 4 children. My oldest daughter Briley is a
Senior at UMass Dartmouth. She runs on the track team for the school and
her Major is Marine Biology. Chelsea is a Freshman at Fisher College and
her major is Psychology and will be on the dance team. Emma is a
Freshman at Whitman-Hanson High School and her passion is drawing and
art. Our son Ethan is in 7th grade at the Whitman Middle School.
Ethan plays baseball and soccer. We have 3 pets, two cats and a turtle. I
enjoy every day at Busy Bee, its great to see the smiles on the children's
little faces when I walk into the room. I love playing, teaching, and
taking care of all of them, it is a very rewarding feeling. I'm looking
forward to another great year and some new adventures.
My name is Miss Jess. I have
been working at Busy Bee for 4 1/2 years. I am 23 and currently living at
home with my parents, 2 brothers, and sister but hoping to move out as
soon as possible! when I'm not at Busy Bee I love to shop. You can
almost always find me at the mall. I also love to travel anywhere and
everywhere! I recently went on a volunteer trip to Costa Rica and spent a
lot of time in helping out in an orphanage. It was such an amazing
experience and I can't wait to go back! I am looking forward to
another great year at Busy Bee and getting to know all of your children :)
Hi, my name is Kelly
Pretorius. I am a teacher in the Infant Room. I live in Brockton
with my fiancé' John, my two children Courtney and Jacob, and John's son
Johnny. Courtney is 17 and is in her Senior year in high school.
Jacob is 13 and is in 8th grade. Johnny is 12 and in the 7th grade.
Courtney and Jacob are both Busy Bee graduates. This will be my 12th
school year at Busy Bee. I really enjoy being a teacher. I have lots of
fun playing with the children and watching them grow and learn. I look
forward to another fun-filled year with all the children, their families
and the Busy Bee staff.
