"Bee The Best You Can Bee"

Play clothing is a necessity !!!

We also ask that students be dressed in an appropriate manner that will allow comfortable play for both inside and outside

Parents shall accompany their children into school each morning & afternoon and help them remove their outer clothing. They should also help the children hang their things in the designated area.

Weather permitting, we go outside each day for 15 minutes.

Nursery & Day Care pupils should provide a change of clothing in an old shoe box with your name on the outside. This clothing will be used in case of accidents or spills. This clothing will be left at school at all times. We require that all clothing (hats, mittens, boots, jackets, etc.) be labeled with your child's name.

Nap / Rest Time ( day care only )
The nap time portion of the day is designed to allow each child a quiet time to relax and rest for a small portion of their day. This portion of our daily schedule is required by EEC regulations.

On the first day of school, please send in a blanket and small pillow for this time of day. Again, please label these articles. These will be kept at school and sent home monthly for cleaning (or as necessary ).

Snack Time
Our midmorning snacks are provided for the entire class by a "Super Snack Happy News Person". Throughout the year each child will be randomly assigned the title of "Super Snack Happy News Person." On your assigned day you provide juice and snack for your classmates. Please, no cupcakes .. save them for party day...thank you. This begins in October and each person should plan to provide snack 3 to 4 times per year.

A refrigerator is available for keeping day care students' lunches cold. Each student is also allowed to bring a hot lunch one day aweek. Your day will be assigned. Please remember to mark your child's name on his/her lunch bag (no hard candy, gum, soda).

Children with allergies or reactions to certain foods will be handled on an individual basis with the staff and parents.

Students' birthdays are celebrated at our school on the student's birthday or on the closest day. Summer birthdays will be assigned throughout June in conjunction with parents' schedules.

Pre-school parents are invited back to school at birthday times, and all parents are asked to provide cupcakes & juice for classmates.

Toys/Special Items
Each child is periodically designated as "HAPPY NEWS PERSON." This title allows your child to bring into school one special toy or item. Each student is proud to share and explain their toy to the entire class. You will be informed in advance on when your super snack happy news day is going to be.

We do not allow any toys that are used as weapons.
